Anabel Montesinos, the youngest winner (at the age of 17) of the Francisco Tárrega International Guitar Competition in Spain, is a leading figure in classical guitar worldwide. She has won first prize in over 10 major guitar competitions, including the Michele Pittaluga, Cittá di Alessandria in Italy, the Julián Arcas in Spain, the Raifeisenwettbewerb in Salzburg, Austria, among others. Anabel Montesinos has given concerts all over the world, she made her debut at Carnegie Hall in 2011, she has played Concierto de Aranjuez by J. Rodrigo in Potsdam “open air concerts”, Berlin, for more than 4000 people and performed with orchestras such as the Torino Philharmonic Orchestra (Italy), Simón Bolivar Symphony Orchestra (Venezuela), Nordic Chamber Orchestra (Sweden), Oulu Symphony Orchestra (Finland), Havana Philharmonic (Cuba), Moscow Philharmonic (Russia) and Pomeranian Philharmonic (Poland). She is also an honorary citizen of the city of Solero, Italy. In 2011 she won the “Premio Chitarra D’Oro” as a promising young talent and in recognition of her artistic achievements, at the Convegno Internazionale di Chitarra in Alessandria. 

Anabel Montesinos has recorded music for the label Naxos, and her first CD was selected as a part of the music program for intercontinental flights by British Airways. Her albums have been praised by international press highlighting the beauty, freshness and virtuosity of her interpretations. She has shared concerts with Paco de Lucía, where they presented "the other side of Spanish music" with a resounding success. In addition to her classical repertoire that stretches from the Renaissance to the present day, she has also performed popular music on several occasions, such as music by The Beatles and Queen, adapted for guitar and orchestra, among them, the famous "Bohemian Rhapsody”, which was praised with standing ovation on her tour in 2019.

In December 2021 she recorded her third solo album in Brasil with the company GuitarCoop. The album is called Alma Llanera and is dedicated to Latin American music, containing both classical and popular works. Anabel is a Savarez Artist, playing with Savarez Cantiga Alliance Premium high tension strings. Her guitar, called Jasmine, was built in 2018 by the great luthier Steve Connor.
